About Us

Erik and Susan Selby were able to realize their dream of  farming in 2007 , thanks to the generosity and trust of some very dear friends who believed in their vision of a full service organic farm and learning center.  We are forever in their debt.

Farming on a beautiful piece of land in Butler County, Susan and Erik began a CSA as a way of sharing their good fortune and the bounty of the land with others. Susan's Father, Mr. Robert Barr, joined Meadow Rock Farm & Gardens as a Caretaker after over 50 years in the blacksmithing business. He's a wonderful source of wit and encouragement. You'll enjoy meeting him. He has taken care of many free range chickens that provide the farm's delicious eggs. Erik's dedication and kindness helped bring the farm to life and everyone was saddened by his sudden passing in 2009. This year we hope to honor Erik's memory and his passionate commitment to growing good food, living simply and giving back to people and the planet.

We're easy to find, just an hour from the far side of Pittsburgh and minutes from Cranberry and Butler.
