Fresh is Best!
Come get to know your farmer
We have an opening for you in our 2010 CSA
Check out the Meadow Rock Difference

We care! Meadow Rock is a family owned and operated farm. Our goal is to provide our members with the highest quality organic produce, as well as, unique learning opportunities designed to enrich your life. We believe that everyone should have access to affordable, healthy, organic produce. Our family will never sacrifice quality for quantity, which is why our CSA is limited to a small number of members.

Ask yourself: do you know the people who grow your food? Where is it coming from? When was it picked? What’s on it – and in it? Does the grower actually care about your health and satisfaction?

The reality is that your produce was most likely shipped from hundreds – even thousands of miles away. It was probably harvested several weeks ago and treated with any number of waxes, preservatives or pesticides to keep it looking “fresh” for a long time. Today’s big commercial growers make their money by supplying their products in bulk to the big box stores … for them it’s all about quantity and the bottom line. Sadly the commitment to true freshness and outstanding taste has been lost.

Meadow Rock Farm offers you a better way. Since we are a small family farm, we can afford to grow tastier heirloom vegetables and herbs that gourmets love. If you have a favorite herb or vegetable, we’ll do our best to find the seeds and plant it for you. You’re always welcome to bring the family and visit Meadow Rock, walk the fields, enjoy the wildlife and peace that comes from true country living.

We're now taking 2010 CSA Memberships! Meadow Rock's public CSA offers standard seasonal selections, with special attention given to a member's favorites.  While some seasonal items may be offered in specific amounts, the restricted size of our CSA allows us to provide most things in unrestricted quantity. Herbs, eggs, chickens and specialty goods are also provided. Shares are picked up by members at the CSA clubhouse, located on the farm.  In cases of special need we'll make every effort to provide delivery.   Meadow Rock offers flexible payment options.  If you want fresh, health organic produce, we'll customize a plan to fit your budget.
